If you’ve downloaded our free guide to creating your own Family Tech Think Tank and you need some inspiration to help you get started, here you go!
It’s been awesome to see these posts show up on social media and in our email inbox. Keep at it my friends! We’re going to make a difference in the world. We can help our kids (and ourselves!) learn how to prioritize real life and people over screens, one step at a time.
The Henrie Family
We’ve been working on coming up with a solid plan for technology in our house. Better Screen Time has been hugely helpful in helping us talk about technology as a family. I highly recommend visiting their website if you are looking for a purposeful way to use technology and set boundaries for that technology in your home.
The Wells Family
Had a great discussion about Better Screen Time tonight with the family, led by Tia!
Decided to have an exclusion zone in our house (bedrooms, bathrooms) and to limit the screen use (including phones, iPads, computer, PS4, and TV). Also came up with alternate activities to do instead of screen time.
Thanks Andrea for your innovation and your #betterscreentime ideas.
The Archibald Family
I realized we needed a do-over on our Good Pictures, Bad Pictures lesson. It was super short and chaotic the first time. So we did it again tonight. Here’s some footage–it’s very real. 🙂
Hi Andrea!
It’s Becca Lloyd–we met at Sara Payne’s Park City getaway! I’ve been thinking about you and your website and I’m excited to try some of your inspired ideas! I’d love to implement a tech think tank, but I’m having trouble finding more information about it. Would you mind sending along a link with that info? I’m pumped up–thanks so much for sharing!
Hi Becca! SO great to hear from you. I was just thinking of you the other day. I wish I could have you for a skiing buddy!
When you subscribed to our email list, the free guide to starting a Family Tech Think Tank should have opened up in a new tab as a PDF. Sorry if it missed you somehow! I will email it to you right now.
And thanks for bringing this to my attention—perhaps others have missed it, too. I’ll try to make it more obvious!
Thrilled to hear that you are ready to start your own Think Tank with your family!
